What to expect

How we work with partners.

Partners and employers

Intro call within one week. We share cohort profiles, placement data, and scope a hiring or sponsorship engagement.

Future participants

We will point you at the next open cohort, eligibility, and application timeline. If nothing is open, we add you to the waitlist.

Governments and funders

We share the 2025 impact report, the ROI methodology, and a replication deck. Then we set up a call with WIL leadership.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

Who is eligible for WIL programs?+

WIL programs are open to Canadians and Canadian residents who want to work in tech. Individual cohorts have their own eligibility rules. Some have been open to all applicants. Some have targeted communities the industry has historically under-served.

Are WIL programs free for participants?+

Yes. WIL programs are fully funded by government, philanthropic, and employer partners. Participants do not pay tuition.

How do employers partner with WIL?+

Employers can sponsor cohorts, provide work-integrated learning projects, mentor participants, or hire directly. The partner page is the fastest way in.

Can the framework be replicated outside Canada?+

Yes. The Training-to-Outcome Framework was designed to be replicable. We are talking with government and philanthropic funders about deployments in new jurisdictions.
